Spotlight: The Year of the Dragon Commemorative Plates

In celebration of the Chinese zodiac “Year of the Dragon”, Villeroy & Boch has created this wonderful porcelain series, all dedicated to the upcoming Chinese New Year.

Villeroy & Boch Year of the Dragon Commemorative Plates

Chinese New Year begins on January 23, 2012 and promises to be a year of good luck. If you are having a baby, starting a business or planning any big event, the Year of the Dragon is the year to do it!

This limited edition series, called Dragon, is a wonderful reminder of all the good energy surrounding this Chinese New Year. Each piece is highly decorated with deep reds, vibrants blues, rich oranges and layered generously with gold decor. The designs are intricate with positive symbols of luck and fortune nestled throughout the design. We love the design alone, but once you start to find all the unique symbols, these pieces become so much more unique.
