It’s almost Valentine’s Day.
I’m thinking about my loves.
My true loves.
Husband and children aside, there are items in my home that I treasure. Physical objects that I LOVE. And I’m starting to think they are loving me back. Is that wrong? Some of these items I treasure because they have come from my mother and I still remember from our childhood farmhouse in Germany. Other pieces are beautiful and they make me feel luxurious…even on a Monday. And then there are my daily “go to” items that I love because they bring function to my life.
Every day I revel in creating a dining table for my family that is inviting. One that is adorned with quality dinnerware, linens, candles and crystal stemware. One of my absolute favorite details are my Boston crystal bowls. These vintage-inspired bowls are faceted with a jewel-like appearance and have a sturdy footed stem. I own them in clear and they are just the sparkle I need for my Audun Collection. Perfectly sized for fruit salad, granola and yogurt, ice cream and just about anything else. They also work lovely in a single file row down the center of your table…as candleholders, mini vases or even for jams and condiments. Mostly, I love the airy sparkle that crystal brings to the table. And when you add color to the mix, your sparkle goes into overdrive! These darling gems are dishwasher safe and are durable enough for every day use. Year after year, you’ll find these “go to” bowls will add beauty to your life. They’ll never lose their luster. They will always be in fashion. And, they work with any dinnerware you own. Now, what’s not to love about that?
