What? Summer isn’t Formal?
Did you every notice that your formal china gets a little lonely in the summer months? True…hot dogs and sandy beaches hardly make me want to break out the good stuff. But, what about the long warm nights? And the 4-day weekends when time with family and friends is much more easily found? Aren’t these all perfect opportunities to make the time more special? We all know formal doesn’t mean stuffy. It means special. It means embracing quality time with a little extra oomph.
Remember that your formal china is of the highest quality and much more durable than most give it credit. In fact, bone china is the most durable form of dinnerware out there. So, if your formal china is stored somewhere in the closet with your Thanksgiving tablecloth or on display in your dining room hutch, it’s time to rethink…what am I saving it for? Isn’t every day special?
